We believe in the power and privilege of prayer. We want to bathe every decision, activity, and response in prayer, asking for the desire and strength to follow God's direction in bringing a lost world to meet our Jesus.

Jo Spencer, Founder &  Board of Directors President

Jo lives in the Kansas City area with her husband of 39 years and biggest supporter, Troy. They have  two daughters, Jaeklynn and Bailey,  two son-in-laws, Tanner and Pete, and five grandchildren. Jo's 38-year career in education, co-leading countless mission trips, writing and leading women's Bible studies and mentoring young moms and college students have all been a part of preparing for the journey on which God is taking her, that of founder and president of the Sedli Project.  The desires and skills and passions God has been honing are culminating in this precious ministry.  God has an amazing way of weaving the details of lives into completely beautiful, crazy, fantastic tapestries for His purposes.  She is hanging on for the adventure of an eternity!

Jennifer Toriggino, Board of Directors CPA

Jennifer has lived in the Denver, Colorado area for the past 27 years with her husband of 36 years, Dominic. They have two grown sons, Sid and Nicholas.  Her professional background is in accounting, specializing in tax return preparation for businesses and individuals. She loves Jesus and His empowering Holy Word and is honored to serve on this board as Treasurer using her God-given accounting skills.

Becky MacCallum, Board of Directors Secretary

Becky is very familiar with missions.  She was raised as a missionary kid in Brazil.  Reaching women in other countries with the gospel and teaching women to grow in their faith are two areas she loves about the Sedli Project.  Her daily goal is to live out her relationship with Jesus.  She volunteers at church as a greeter and marriage mentor.  She was a school counselor for over twenty years and is now in private counseling..She is married to Graham MacCallum.  They have a son, daughter-in-law, and four beautiful grandchildren..

Geoff Cockrell

Geoff works at McGuire Woods and is the chair of the firm's private equity group.  He serves on the firm’s Board of Partners. He has a wide scope of experience in mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions. His mergers and acquisition experience, representing private equity sponsors, strategic purchasers and sellers extends across a diverse number of industries with a primary focus on healthcare provider services transactions. Geoff is a national contributor both at conferences and in publications on a wide array of issues unique to the private equity industry. He regularly contributes to Law360’s Healthcare and Private Equity sections, and is an author of The Healthcare Investor, a blog on healthcare finance topics.

Sue Wampner

Sue resides in Marion, Indiana with her husband Steve.  They are blessed to have their daughter Hayley, son-in-law Daniel and two grandchildren, Kinley and Eli,  living in the Marion area as well.  Prayer is Sue's passion and joy.  She has served as Chairperson for Deep Tree Prayer Ministries for 9 years and served at Indiana Wesleyan University in the Department of Chapel for 7 years, doing a variety of prayer initiatives with students and staff.   She believes prayer to be an incredible gift of God that has potential to literally change a culture through the love, power and Word of God.  She counts it a privileged to serve on the Sedli Project in carrying God’s heart to the precious women of the nations.

Paul Rhodes

Paul grew up as a pastor’s kid in a big family and accepted Christ at a young age. His family moved to the KC area while he was in high school where he met his future wife in Spanish class. He has been married to Stacy for seven years, and they have four children. Paul works as an Operations Manager at Jet. In his spare time he enjoys hanging out with his family, watching sports, and fishing. He has served on short term mission trips twice in Haiti and is excited about serving with his children one day.  One of his favorite verses is: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility, value others above yourself, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interest of others.” Philippians 2: 3-4
